The regulated bridging loan was used to secure the purchase of the borrower’s new estate.
The client was stuck in a complicated chain-break scenario, involving the sale of multiple properties as an exit.
After receiving an initial call from Luther Yeates, senior finance broker at Clifton Private Finance, Alex Doveston, BDM at Greenfield, was able to ensure a speedy completion on the client’s new residence within the required.
“The transaction was fairly complex given it involved multiple properties,” commented Alex.
“This can create more hurdles, but we have many years of knowledge and experience to deliver on these circumstances.”
Alex believes it is vital to understand the “emotional aspects” of a case.
“Seeing the situation from the client’s point of view is imperative to a successful outcome.
“That process starts from the initial email.”
In a joint statement, Luther and Robert Gibb, senior finance broker, at Clifton Private Finance, added: “It was a tricky case given the number of properties involved and the timescales the vendor of the purchase wanted our client to work to.
“However, with the support of the Greenfield team and ESN Solicitors who went above and beyond, we were confident that we’d put the case with the right lender.”
